1. Camel Pose: Start on your hands and knees in a “tabletop” position. Bring your right hand behind your head, and reach it toward your left foot. Lay your right cheek on your right shoulder. Gently arch your back, lifting your hips and chest off the ground, and hold for five deep breaths.
2. Half Camel Pose: Start in a low lunge with your right leg forward and left leg back, both bent at 90-degree angles. Place your right hand on the floor beside your right foot, and reach up overhead with your left arm, placing your left hand on the back of your head. Gently arch your back and look up toward the ceiling, holding for five deep breaths.
3. King Pigeon Pose: Start in Downward Facing Dog. Draw your right knee forward to meet your right wrist, then lower down onto all fours with that same leg extended straight behind you (think of an upside-down letter “L”). Rest your forehead on the mat if you can (or place a block underneath it), and walk or wiggle both hands over to the left side of the mat so they frame that same straight leg. Hold for five deep breaths before slowly coming back to Downward Facing Dog on all fours, then repeating on the other side.
